Harmony Developments Inc. took a major step forward with approvals granted on two new neighbourhood plans (Stage 2 and Stage 3) as well as amendments to the Direct Control Bylaw to re-designate certain sections of land.
Rocky View County Council granted the approval at a meeting May 9, 2017. This is very good news and allows us to continue building the key pieces that support our vision for the amenities.
Stage 1 of Harmony is what you see currently under development, with much of the infrastructure completed and residential construction occurring in Phases 1, 2 and later this spring, Phase 3. Developing the lands to the northwest of Stage 1 is seen as the most logical extension of the existing infrastructure.
The Stage 2 Neighbourhood Plan covers a portion of Harmony that is roughly 53 acres in size, west of the Mickelson National Golf Course, providing an additional 150 to 220 homes and increased amenity space for residents of Harmony as well as the general public. This section will also introduce the highly anticipated Harmony Beach Club. The Stage 3 Neighbourhood Plan will complete the development of the second and final section of the lake, as well as provide an additional 650 to 800 homes.
