As fall is now here, we continue to work hard on the infrastructure of Harmony. It was a productive summer with the development team accomplishing the following highlights:
The OAH (Owners Association of Harmony) has purchased a dock and an electric powered boat, for maintenance use and emergency assistance. Other safety equipment will be installed this fall.
The development team has seeded the lake with aquatic plants and vegetation. This will provide a stable food source for our fish habitat which are planned for populating as early as 2019.
Work is almost complete on the servicing of Phase 3, and builders should be receiving building permits this fall. With Tamarack estate homes already for sale, we expect to release the interior Aspen Collection home sites to the builder group in October. (With an exciting added bonus that we hope to announce soon, as well.)
Mickelson National Golf
It’s starting to look like a golf course! 4 Holes are now complete, with planted grass seed now turning green. Four more holes will be seeded this fall, before work will pause through the winter months. Seeding will continue in the spring, along with final grading on some of the holes.
Water Treatment Facility
Harmony’s advanced water treatment plant owned by HAWSCO, is functioning well under the expertise of the operator, Corix. It is producing consistent high-quality water that meets strict Alberta water quality regulations. Our wastewater treatment plant will have some final adjustments before it is commissioned.
