CALGARY –

The Community of Harmony, By Bordeaux Developments & Qualico Communities has won the prestigious BILD Calgary  “ Community of the Year, Calgary Region” award.

Winners of the BILD Calgary Region Awards were announced on Saturday, April 14, 2018, at the first ever BILD Calgary Region Awards Gala (formerly known as the SAM Awards).

Twice is very nice– the sentiment coming from Harmony, a Lake Community just west of Calgary’s city limits, in Springbank.

Harmony is a 1,753 acre-mixed use lifestyle community that is designed to reconnect you with a better quality of life with beautiful homes, 2 recreational lakes, the anticipated Mickelson National Golf Club, a future Village Centre, a Beach Club, and future business campuses.

Launched in 2016, the community is built under the development partnership of Calgary’s Qualico Communities & Bordeaux Developments. Now entering its 3rdyear,  it has grown not only in size, but pioneering residents have created a vibrant home for young families that have clearly fallen in love with their community.

“We are extremely proud for Harmony to be selected for Community of the Year Calgary Region, for its second year in a row. Harmony’ vision has been a collaboration of many stakeholders from our team, our builders, members of the community, Rocky View County, and thought leaders from many other disciplines.  We also want to thank our development Partner, Qualico, for being an excellent partner. Harmony is the outcome of many great, progressive ideas coming together”.  Birol Fisekci, President & CEO- Bordeaux Developments.

“We are very proud to work on this development with Bordeaux Developments. Harmony is a community like no other. With the lake, the Mickelson National golf course, the beautiful mountain views it’s truly spectacular. Harmony being recognized by the industry for the second consecutive year as Community of the Year – Calgary Region by BILD is an honour, it’s great to be acknowledged by our peers for the work that is being done.” Cary Kienitz Associate Director of Development, Calgary Region, Qualico Communities
