Harmony Hits Prime Construction Season

Our development team will be extremely busy this Spring and Summer making further progress on the infrastructure in Harmony.

Completion of the Water Treatment Facility:  This high-tech water treatment plant which serves Harmony exclusively, is owned by HAWSCO (Harmony Advanced Water Systems Corporation) and operated by Corix Utilities. It is now fully commissioned and provides Harmony’s drinking water for residents.

Waste Water Treatment Facility:  This facility located near the golf course, is nearing completion. It appears as a cluster of smaller buildings, with a nearby giant sized reservoir. This lined reservoir will eventually fill with reclaimed water from the treatment plant and be used to irrigate Mickelson National Golf Club. This is not to be confused with a raw sewage lagoon!

Phase 3 Residential: Located immediately west of Phase 2, the development will break ground in June, with earthworks, and underground utility installation. Sales have begun on a portion of these lots.

Engineering design for Phase 4:  will also commence this year.

Also included in the current engineering activity is the design of the adjacent phase which will be home to Harmony’s K-8 School Site.

Earth moving on Stage 2/3:  We will be working on some stripping on the lands of Stage 3, across from the lake in early prep for future work.

Landscaping: We have completed landscaping around the lake edge and beach area, and now we’ll wait for the grass to germinate and grow this summer. You’ll also notice a new wetland that we have created directly across from the Discovery Centre. This is part of Harmony’s green-web water management in action.
