It wouldn’t be July without a Stampede Breakfast to mark the occasion. On July 8, Harmony and Bingham Crossing co-hosted its second annual Stampede Breakfast at the Discovery Centre. With over 1200 pancakes being served by Harmony Ambassadors and Volunteers, the event is quickly becoming the favourite of Harmony residents and friends. Guests enjoyed live entertainment by Jennie Harluk while enjoying breakfast on the deck with views of Harmony Lake.
In the spirit of community, we invited our neighbours from across the highway, Wild Wild West to tour guests around Harmony on a Hay Ride led by two enormous Clydesdale horses. They wandered the streets listening to cowboys tell entertaining tales along the way.
For those guests who took advantage of the blue sunny skies and ventured to our beautiful lake, Undercurrents was providing the opportunity to test drive paddleboards, kayaks and canoes. Or for those looking for a more relaxing adventure SUP Yoga (yoga on a paddleboard) had introductory classes available. Experience the true benefits of of living an active lifestyle in a lake community.
Every year the Stampede Breakfast just gets better, we can’t wait to see what’s in store for 2019. Life really is better when it is lived in Harmony.
